Welcome to AES (Automated Election System) Watch’s official blog

This is the official blog of AES (Automated Election System) Watch, a Manila-based broad coalition of non-government organizations, civil society and faith-based groups, policy studies centers, IT experts, and members of the academe advocating transparent automated elections.

AES Watch vigilantly monitored the Philippines’ first automated elections in 2010, after which it came up with a comprehensive report on the irregularities in the automated election system. The report was submitted to key stakeholders and policymakers. It also consolidated key findings on the 2010 elections into a book titled “Was Your Vote Counted?”, which was launched on April 10, 2013.
